Two-Day Search Ends Successfully as Delhi Township Coyote is Freed and Reunited With Pack

The coyote spotted wandering Delhi Township with a glass jar stuck on its head has been successfully freed and released back to its pack, ending a two-day community search effort. Neighbors, wildlife officials, and animal control worked together after residents first spotted the animal struggling on local streets. The successful rescue drew widespread attention on neighborhood Facebook groups throughout the week.

Anderson Ferry Raises Prices and Changes Closing Time Effective July 1

The Anderson Ferry, founded in 1817 and the only automobile river crossing between the Brent Spence Bridge and the I-275 west bridge, raised its rates effective July 1, citing increased operational costs. Cars and trucks now cost $6 and up per crossing, and the ferry’s new closing time is 9 p.m. Located about eight miles west of downtown Cincinnati, the ferry is a direct west side corridor into Northern Kentucky.
